Who am I
Teresa Huguet
I am Teresa Huguet Vidal, a podiatrist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic foot disease. I have over 25 years of experience in clinical podiatry, with a distinguished track record in specialized diabetic foot units at leading hospitals such as the Joan XXIII University Hospital in Tarragona and the Mútua de Terrassa.
Since 1995, I have run my own private practice in Montblanc and L’Espluga de Francolí, where I offer comprehensive podiatric care, including orthopedics, nail surgery, and complication prevention for patients with chronic conditions.
My training includes a postgraduate degree in Clinical Podiatry and various specializations in podiatric surgery, orthopodology, and posturology, as well as extensive training in the management and treatment of diabetic foot disease, with stays in specialized hospitals and participation in international conferences.
In addition to my clinical work, I have participated in training sessions and conferences for healthcare professionals and patients, contributing to the dissemination of best practices in diabetic foot care.
My approach is based on prevention, personalized treatment, and patient education, with the goal of improving quality of life and avoiding serious complications in foot care.
